Life Transition Compass ("the App") is operated by Lil on Life & Co. ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, stored, and used when you use the Life Transition Compass mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Life Transition Compass collects minimal information necessary to operate the service.

Apple Sign-In identifier
Email address (if provided through Apple Sign-In)
First name (entered by the user during onboarding)
USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Journal reflections and prompt responses
Self-assessment responses
Integrity wins entries
Weekly alignment pulse responses
Decision Clarity Lab entries
Session history and compass readings
SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled)
Subscription tier (Free, Core, or Coaching)
DEVICE INFORMATION
Firebase Cloud Messaging token (used only to deliver push notifications)
Device platform (iOS)
We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, behavioral tracking data, or third-party usage analytics.
2. How Your Data Is Stored
User data is stored using Google Firebase services, including:
Firebase Authentication — manages secure sign-in
Cloud Firestore — stores user-generated content and account data
Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications
These services are provided by Google LLC and are used solely to operate the functionality of the App. Your data is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest within secure Google cloud infrastructure.
3. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted network connections (HTTPS), encrypted database storage, and restricted infrastructure access.
Access to user data within our infrastructure is limited to essential operational purposes only. We do not routinely access, read, or review the contents of user journal entries or reflection responses.
While no system can guarantee absolute security, we take appropriate steps to safeguard user data.
4. Data Location
Because the App uses Google Firebase infrastructure, user data may be stored on secure servers located outside of Canada. By using the App, you acknowledge that your information may be processed and stored in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.
5. Data Sharing
Life Transition Compass does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. Your data is only used to operate the core functionality of the App. Third-party service providers such as Google Firebase process data solely to support App operation.
6. Notifications
If enabled by the user, the App may send optional local push notifications including:
Daily integrity win reminders
Weekly alignment pulse reminders
Monthly dashboard check-in reminders
Users may enable, disable, or customize the timing of these notifications within the App's notification settings. Notification preferences are not used for marketing purposes.
7. Data Retention
User data is retained only while the user maintains an active account. Upon account deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy
Life Transition Compass is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. The App does not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and associated data promptly.

The App relies on the following third-party infrastructure:
Google Firebase (Google LLC) — used for authentication, database storage, and push notification delivery.
